Spring Clean Your Mind, Body, & Space

Springtime always feels like a fresh start to me, especially this year. A few tips to embrace a new season and "spring clean" for a fresh start:

Your space:

  • Clean out your closets and drawers- donate things you don't wear or don't fit.

  • Go thru your bathroom cabinets throw away products you don't use or are expired (most products have 6-12 month shelf life after opening).

  • De-clutter countertops & closets.

Your mind:

  • Social media detox, unfollow accounts that are not aligned with you and your goals.

  • Start a meditation practice (insight timer is a great free app to get started).

  • Get more sleep.

  • Limit watching TV.


Your body:

  • Move your body daily- walk, yoga, weightlifting, dancing (any activity you enjoy).

  • Sweat often- purge your body of excess toxins.

  • Drink more water.

  • Eat nourishing foods- more veggies, fruits and whole grains. Less alcohol, processed food and sugar.
